Caleb's Birthday

I am still in shock that Caleb turned one yesterday. We're having a party for him this weekend, but I took pictures of our day yesterday just to document it. I took a picture of him at his exact birth minute-a friend of mine does that and I think it's the best idea. He was napping though at 9:45 and the flash woke him up! Oh well...he probably won't be asleep at his birth minute for the next, ah, 15 or so years! :) We had fun playing at the park with our friends Kristy, Eva, and Jordan (Eva is just 3 days older than Caleb) and even had a picnic that included chocolate chip cookies-Caleb's first! (He loved them). We were there for a long time, came home and took a nap, then ran errands at Target. We went over to PetSmart to look at the fish and kitties after that--he loved both!! Came home, ate dinner, took a bath and actually got to see daddy RIGHT before he went to sleep. It was a good day! What a wonderful year it has been...and I'm so excited to see what THIS year brings!!!
