Bella's birthday party

This past Saturday we went to Alpha Farm in Nicholasville for Bella's 7th birthday! She is Caleb's cousin who is currently VERY into horses, so she got to ride horses on her birthday! It was quite chilly but a beautiful day.

Thirty-One

Tomorrow night I begin my new business adventure as an independent consultant for Thirty-One. This is a faith-based company that sells the CUTEST purses/bags/candles/stationery, etc., most of which can all be monogrammed for free. Visit my website www.mythirtyone.com/sarahboling to view a catalog online and see what the products are like. If you would like to host a party for me, there are many deals you can get from that and it would be much appreciated. The company is based on Proverbs 31 from the Bible which talks about the virtuous woman who helps take care of her family. I hope that by starting this business, I can help take care of my growing family, especially since I am no longer bringing home a regular paycheck. Email me for more information: sboling79@gmail.com...I'd love to tell you more about it!!

Bi-Water Farm trip

We went to Bi-Water farm in Georgetown on Saturday. I'd never been before, but it was great! The weather was perfect, there were tons of animals to see, a hayride and a train ride, etc. Caleb had a great time and even pet a llama! There was also a non-scary haunted house and a "pumpkin mine". It was so fun!

Our Little Wildcat

Well, it didn't help them win, but he sure looked daggone cute in his UK gear on Saturday!! We went to lunch with Bryan's mom and 2 sisters to O'Charley's, church on Sat.night, then today we went to lunch at Red Robin, then visited the new dog park with the doggies. They had a good time and it was so nice because it was shady, so we didn't have to bake, since it's like August here right now! Boo! Where is fall?? Tonight we'll go to life group, which will be fun as always. It's been a good weekend! :)

3 months old already

Well, on Wed. Caleb turned 3 months old!! That is SO hard to believe, especially when I was thinking that this whole pregnancy/motherhood journed started a year ago this month. I really am enjoying this stage...he is sooo cute when he smiles, giggles, coos, etc that Bryan and I will do just about anything to get those reactions from him! Just yesterday I had to go out and buy a few pairs of pjs because he is SO long...the 3 month jammies are too short but fit right everywhere else, and the 6 month ones are just right on length but are too big everywhere else. I found some 3-6 month ones that I think will be "just right". I hope so! :) No doctor appointments this month-we go again in November for his 4 month. I bought his Halloween costume this week too...he is going to be a monkey! It is SO cute-it even has a banana sewn into the sleeve. I think I'm going to get some 3 month pics made-hopefully in his costume-either through a friend or JC Penney. I can't believe how much he has changed in just 3 short months-and how much more he'll change in the next 3! I am trying to live in the moment and enjoy it all.

A trip to the apple orchard!

We had so much fun at the apple orchard on Saturday!! Caleb was so good and seemed to really enjoy himself, especially the animals and the hayride! And he looked SOO cute in his overalls and his baseball hat! It was hotter than I would have liked but we had a blast.

2 blissful years!

Yesterday was mine and Bryan's 2 year anniversary. It is SOOO hard to believe it was 2 years ago that we stood on a beach in Jamaica and exchanged vows. I don't remember everything he said to me that day, but I do remember that it was beautiful and perfect. For my anniversary gift, Bryan compiled TONS of emails we sent each other while we were first getting to know each other, mushy love emails, and organized them into a book. He has saved every email we've ever written (over 12,000!!!). He also included emails between he and my dad when he was asking him for permission to marry me. Wow. I am SOO blessed. Bryan is truly perfect for me in every way. Being with him is easy. We're so alike (thank you eHarmony!). I can't believe how blessed I am sometimes, especially when I think back to my life BEFORE Bryan....I never imagined God could redeem a situation in such an incredible way. I prayed for a real, Christian man who would treat me right and I got so much more than I even prayed for. Bryan loves me unconditionally and in such tangible ways. He is a man of God and a man of integrity. I don't know what I would have done the first few weeks of mommyhood if I hadn't had him to feed Caleb in the middle of the night, watch him so I could take a nap, etc. He loves with such a selfLESS love. I hope I don't ever take him for granted. And he treated me like such a princess when I was pregnant and miserable. I couldn't ask for more, and can just pray for many, many more years together.
